RED PEPPER SOUP plus

  • 2 cups ‘Organic Trader Joes Red Pepper low sodium soup –or make your own soup base-,
    (can ‘lighten’ with Imagine, Better than boullion LOW SODIUM or other light soup base)
  • FRESH SALMON cut in chunks (or other seafood)
  • 1/4 cup asparagus or other vegetable(s) such as brussel sprouts or fresh lentils or other legumes
  • fresh garlic
  • thai peppers (optional-remove when heated)
  • onions – chopped
  • optional: 1/4 cup red wine
  • thai basil -if available- or regular basil
  • milk (or almond milk) – 1/4 cup
  • optional: add a little bacon for richer tastes
  • OPTIONAL: TO SPICE IT UP , ADD JALAPENO OR PEPPRROCINI SLICES OR HOT PEPPER FLAKES

In soup pan add a little oil and saute salmon, onions, asparagus and garlic until slightly browned

Add other ingredients and cook high for 1 minute , then on medium low heat for 5 minutes.
